The corner cabinet lazy susan with pull outs is S tier for me. We added one to our kitchen 10+ years ago and I can't imagine life without it. It holds our food storage containers, glass jars, and a variety of small appliances and they are all easy to get to. It is definitely accessed daily.

I have firmly decided that IF I have a corner space, I will block it off and leave a friendly hallowe’en skeleton in there for the next renovator. (No room in my closet for a skeleton 😂)

My favorite cabinet is the one for the stepladder, where I also store the broom and dustpan. I utilized my wall space with cabinets that go to the ceiling.

7:12 I grew up with the wooden pantry organizer, my mom installed one in their retirement house, and I installed one in my own kitchen. They hold a ton of pantry items and because it offers a million shallow yet adjustable shelves, everything has a set home and is very visible. In addition you have a deep cabinet above it typically with a shelf that holds more bulky or tall items. The only way I’d give mine up is to try a walk-in pantry.

I have always loved storing my spices in a rack mounted on the cabinet door. But the difference is that I choose a pantry door, not just a wall-cabinet door. The pantry cabinet is deeper, meaning I don't sacrifice precious inches in the wall cabinet. Plus, it makes the pantry cabinet itself a little shallower, so I can more easily reach things (or I can size the pull-outs to accommodate the spice rack.) I have a LOT of spices, so I really do need this much space. Spices I use rarely go toward the top, and overflow or bulk spices (or sauces) go on the bottom. The rest are arranged according to use, by a system that is apparently utterly mysterious to the rest of the family. But I really like being able to access them quickly while cooking, and to be able to see everything at a glance.

My parents had our house built in the mid-70s. Being working-class, it was a pretty basic ranch style. The corner space in the kitchen has a lazy susan, but it's the kind with the face of the cabinets affixed to the lazy susan itself, so you just push or pull in either direction. Mom always kept her spices there (it was right by the stove), and while that sounds horrible, it worked fine.

My old house has one of those old built-in spice cabinets, and I love it - although it's packed pretty full right now! I have to say I'm not sure how many of your tips will help me when I do get around to remodeling the kitchen (it won't be a complete overhaul) due to both my budget and the space. But I still enjoy this channel a lot!

Corners are usually squared off nowadays, but they don't need to be, and older people will remember they often weren't in older homes. Instead the corner was often made as a diagonal, which makes for more space for the lazy susan, and less wasted space around the lazy susan. It also gives you a corner overhanging cabinet that is also on a diagonal, has more space than a straight cut, is easier to access, and without the need for a lazy susan or other device because it's elevated. The counter space in the corner is larger, so you do have a bit more working space, but also have space behind that in the corner which isn't working space. In earlier times a heavy mixer or the like would be placed there. Nowadays it's the ideal location for a microwave; perfect for access and cleaning, but not taking up working counter space. While I'm talking about the micro in that corner space that doesn't exist with a straight cut corner: You can just order something that matches your kitchen with the features you want on Amazon, and you're set. It matters because micros die, often. Spend 200, spend 1000, they don't last. It's a lot less hassle and at a lower cost to pick something out at Amazon and drop it in that corner space than to find something that will fit a custom space and also match.

Maybe your parents weren't crazy...

I have a small pull out spice rack. It’s helpful. I had a magic corner. Didn’t have any good experience. A total waste of space for me. I demolished the corner cabinet of my kitchen in less than two years of building it. Got rid of that corner cabinet. Now there’s no corner cabinet in my kitchen. Super efficient. Super happy 😅

My parents had the pullouts installed into the kitchen cabinets. We all love them.
They have a narrow cabinet turned into the pullout spice rack. Yes, I labeled the lids, and it works great for us. There aren't that many drawers in the kitchen and this uses space that we just used to throw the empty grocery sacks into. Also, it isn't next to the oven (where too many modern ones are installed). It is next to one of the common prep areas. The stuff that is used often is on the top shelf for easy access.
We use the cabinet over the fridge is where we store stuff for power failures. Sometimes alcohol.
My grandma's kitchen had a very deep blind corner cabinet that there was literally no way to get into unless you climbed into it. So, we just didn't use the corner. It worked well enough for us.

I have a utensil pullout that my husband built for me years ago. It has 3 holders and sits right by the stove. That is the only thing it does and I love it. In our upcoming kitchen redo it is a must have.
