Well.... no. Jack Benny isn't a character. He was a comedian from the 30s. Gilbert had been namedropping throughout

30:15 opening the door to find a classy Garfield sitting there with a glass of orange juice all polite like was actually unironically funny

I love this arg, its my favorite rn, but i cant see how youd call it disturbing. Its so blatantly funny and over the top, i mean the mc even searches a house marble hornets style at one point only to drop the camera and take a giant lasagna dump on the toilet.

The Abu-Dhabi reference is from Garfield constantly trying to mail Nermal to there for being more cute than Garfield. This was in the original comic and the specials as well as all other official media.

Garfield the cat is the quintessential representation of American media and entertainment culture. Same with Gottfried. We have now reached the Post-ironic

I personally love the idea of Greg coming in like a wrecking ball, screaming at god knows how many random people unaffiliated with the conspiracy, outsmarting most people in it despite being clearly off his gourd, and then just as wildly as he entered the story, exiting by dying in a car crash after as someone else mentioned, he refused to get his junkheap of a lemon fixed by that one auto shop and was convinced he could fix the brakes himself. I like to imagine he died doing 90+ mph while the family guy theme blasted on the car stereo.

Man just bursts into the story and out and nobody in his wake has any idea what the hell just happened. Godspeed

So, while I enjoyed this video, there's a lot of references to the original "Garfield and Friends" cartoon not picked up on here:
The 'shipping Odie's body to Abu Dhabi' line is a reference to a running gag in the show in which Garfields attempts to ship Nermal (a small, cute kitten he finds annoying) to Abu Dhabi, a city in the United Arab Emirates generally associated with being far away or unreachable.
Also, the US Acres portion is a reference to the "Friends" portion of Garfield and Friends- a separate cartoon called Orson's Farm or US Acres about a group of animals, including Shelldon (the chick who won't come out of his egg) and Orson, a pig who acts as the leader of the group.

Before the video starts and gets weird as I know and hope it will, I would just like to say I super miss Gilbert Gottfried

“You know I’m old enough to remember more simpler times when the worst thing you hear on the news is hijacked airlines flying into buildings”- Gilbert Garfield probably

The scariest thing about the ARG is how they misspell Italian words

after watching the whole thing I can confidently say this is the most apeshit insane arg I have seen in my life. It manages to be hilarious and horrible at the same time man...
