  I remember those days. It was not just fire fighters who hit this. Everyone did. No one spoke kindly of anyone with mental health sickness. We didn't waist time getting them the mental help they needed. It was treated as something bad & we hide our crazy family members. Thank God things have changed!!!!

  When my daughter was about 6 months old, she wouldn't stop crying and I had a moment of such pure frustration I knew it wasn't safe for me to go to her. So I called my sister and had her care for my baby for 3 days while I got myself together. I never had another moment like that raising my daughter by myself. I think it's common to feel like that at some point. Going from a person who just has to take care of herself, to caring for a baby completely dependent on you is such a drastic change it's really not surprising when you think about it. Decent people find a way to keep their baby safe when that happens.

  This is a good story about if are going through the same sort of thing, go and talk to someone, don't bottle it up and carry it for years. Get some help for yourself and the other people in your life that this is affecting as well. My thoughts are with you and to anyone going through this and I hope you start to heal.
