The Krupp Diamond has been renamed. It is now The Elizabeth Taylor Diamond. Beautiful ring for a beautiful woman.

To me,the most beautiful engagement ring it's the one my dad gave my mom. It originally belonged to his grandmother, a diamond bow with an old mine cut yellow diamond at the center. It was made in the 19th century,a family heirloom, and my parents were the most loving couple until the end. That's what's most important about a ring, not the value or the carats.

I find these huge stones set on tiny thin rings ungainly, unbalanced and uncomfortable. A big stone needs to be balanced on the hand.

Upon seeing Elizabeth Taylor's ring Princess Margaret said 'How vulgar' Elizabeth gave her the ring to try on. When Princess Margaret did try it on Taylor said 'Not so vulgar now is it?' 🤣
