Dude is a lesson in "don't judge a book by its cover." People would probably be surprised how gentle, intelligent, genuine, and well-rounded the guy is. His drumming though is what initially roped me in, like many. He's the best of the best.

To anyone who is afraid… panic… anxiety… racing heart. You have to fully accept it all. Accept it in the moment. Really really accept it.

I met Travis at warped tour when he played for The Transplants. Not only was he SUPER nice, but went out of his damn way to let me come behind the chainlink fence and signed a few things for my cousins who couldnt make it. Talked to me for as long as he could about drums and tuning the snare and kick etc etc. Got to talk to his drum tech too. Nicest celeb ive EVER met. Im 37 and i was prob 16 when i met him. I talk about it to this day. Nicest guy ever. YOU A LEGEND TRAV!

So grateful for this dude. Blink has helped me since I was 8. I'm 34 now. I started drumming because of travis. He's a hero of mine for sure.

I had the "pleasure" of interviewing Blink 182 back in the early 2000s... while Tom and Mark were total pricks and far more interested in chasing 15 year old girls than talking to me Travis was professional and friendly... he apologized for his bandmates and asked what we needed for the interview and then proceeded to give it to us and then thanked us for talking to him. He's a class act.

I live right next to CAE where Travis' crash happened. I drive past the spot nearly every day. I think of him every time. Glad you slayed that dragon, Travis. I know it wasn't easy. Respect.
