A friend was driving a bit slow in a suburb. An unmarked police car stopped her and asked her where she was going. She explained she was lost. They gave her directions and then told her to follow them to main road to make it easy. Part of the community - great service.

Got pulled up recently at 6:00 a.m. on my way to work, after being followed for many kilometres. "What, bored are yez". "Um, ah, ah, oh, random breath test". After passed breath test and licence inspection, "where ya goin", "that way, see ya"

Got pulled over by the country cop out back QLD, asked if I'd been drinking, I said no, he said I must be dehydrated as water is essential for good health, blew the breathalyzer. Zero level. Asked if he was bored, he said yes, no one had driven past in 2 hrs. Asked if he wanted a coffee as the shop was 10 minutes away. We both had a coffee at the Caffe. Not bad blokes.
