Interesting about human evolution and alcohol. I have heard that no human civilization has ever discovered the wheel 🛞 when they did not have agriculture dedicated to alcohol production.

it looks dry. i think alot of those cherries, plums, and other fruits, are drying too fast to rot in the most disgusting way

By the way, a friend in Argaka(Paphos) has marula trees and makes alcohol with them, so.... when and if you come here you'll have to remake this video with the original drunken monkey fruit 😅😂😂

Humans are exceptionally well able to metabolize alcohol compared to other great apes and most animals in general. Iirc we have something like seven functional copies of the gene that codes for the enzyme, and the human version is roughly 50 times more efficient on top of that. Evolutionary biology is waaaaaay messier than most people believe, so I'm going to refrain from assigning a cause and effect here. It does seem like it could be a great advantage to be able to consume partially rotted food without ill effects.
