If the original had the second ones colours it would be the best easily

Hopefully Spider-man 3 can combine elements from both advanced suits into an ultimate advanced suit or something

Why does insomniac struggle so much with suit colors? It was literally perfect in the concept art

A hot take but for me the orange colors of the advanced suit 1.0 fit the autumn look of the first game very well, the back logo looks so much better than the one on 2.0 And i loved how it was flowing in wind the 2.0 suit looks doesnt have that and looks too stiff

For me, The perfect advanced suit would be 1.0 with 2.0’s colors. And without the spider going into the blue.

3:35 - I love that the reasoning behind the design choices of using the red & white as more protective “armour” while the blue gives the stretch is explained in-game.

Otto was trying to beef up Spider-Man’s outfit and give him more freedom in how he approached things because how now had better protection from any elements, while still finding ways to inject flexibility into the suit.

That combination of armour & freedom of movement is what makes me love the 1.0 design more than the 2.0, along with personal design gripes of the 2.0 suit.

I would love to see a design mash up between the two, taking parts from both to make an ultimate 3.0 version. (And give our boy some dang boots hahaha)

1:49 My guess… Insomniac must’ve had a lack of communication, with the suit.

The 2.0 removing the red on the legs is cool and all, but choosing to not add boots in their place means it's just way too blue. I also really liked how wide the eyes were in the original, I don't like that he looks really squinty in the second game.

1:15 THAT’S WHAT I’VE BEEN SAYING
I feel like this never gets brought up when the suit is discussed, it looks different, sure, but I think it still looks good
