  All I can say is that price increases occur naturally due to inflation in all areas of life.   I have sailed on Princess cruises for over 20 years and will continue to do so, not having had a desire to go on  any other line.

  I support a reasonable price increase for the cruise itself when needed and then stop all the nickel and dime changes that occur during the year.   Limit other changes to annual adjustments or even longer.

  Princess ships offers just the right number and variety of attractions, activities and quiet spaces. Simply said, it suits us as a couple. Also, we limit our excursions as a budget measure in preference to having a balcony cabin as we enjoy the cruising experience. It has cost us to travel to and from New Zealand to cruise nevertheless.

  Very good summary.  You hit the main point for us, service!  We love the crew from top to bottom. We have 9 cruises booked on Princess thru 2028 so you can see that we love Princess!  Leaving for Norway in Oct.  Thx👍

  I totally agree.  I have to say, though that I was on the Sun Princess in January 2026 and I pretty much could not get near the main pools. I was very surprised that they made these two tiny pools for all this many people. I basically stayed in the dome, but again it was extremely crowded too. I’m going be back on the Sun Princess in March 2027 for my retirement cruise in the Mediterranean. I specifically booked a sanctuary mini suite because I cannot deal with the amount of people that are in the regular pool. I am really looking forward to this experience.

  Thanks for sharing.  We love Princess.  We have started sailing smaller, more luxury lines (like Explora Journeys) of late with fewer passengers.  However, we still love Princess as well.  And appreciate your suggestions for them and I hope they are listening.  🥂

  I completely agree with you on value, not even the big resort ships can compare. My biggest negative is customer experience, pre-cruise and during. Too many things go wrong and the person you go to, blames someone else. Go to Guest Services, they have to call shore side. Tell your steward, no you have to go to guest services. Nobody takes ownership. And it’s not the crew’s fault. They are the friendliest and most hard working of any line, this is a management problem. Princess is focused on profitability and as long as the ships are full, they have no time for customer loyalty. For every customer they loose, there are many more behind them to replace them. I’ll return to Princess again I’m sure, but for now I’ll sit this one out until they once again focus on customer experience as they once excelled at.

  Princess is our second favorite line, despite the changes. We book suites and get the Premier package and love the experience. Our favorite. though, is to book Retreat on Celebrity.

  Great information.  I've always wanted to try Princess and this December my wife and I will be going on the Star in December.  When I compared prices with other lines I've been on Princess gave me more of what I wanted at a better price.

  We love Princess because of the value of Princess Plus/Premier and their unique itineraries. &nbsp;Things have gone down a bit since we started sailing with them in 2023, but they are still better than most. &nbsp;We love the medallion tech and wish every cruise line would do something similar. &nbsp;Disney, MSC, and Virgin has something like it, but theirs is not quite all-inclusive like Princess.<br><br>Every time I try to look at Celebrity, their lack of an all-inclusive package is a big con that adds a ton more cost to a cruise. &nbsp;Don&apos;t get me started on that lame joke of a drink/Wi-Fi package they call &quot;all-inclusive&quot;. &nbsp;HAL we are interested in trying, but only if we book the Early Have It All package with Club Orange.<br><br>Probably the only major issue with Princess is that Carnival Corp does not force all the Princess ships to follow the same rules. &nbsp;What happens on one ship is not the same as another. &nbsp;Like the sodagate issue where cans of soda are included/free on one ship, but then another ship charges per the old rules and won&apos;t correct itself. &nbsp;Carnival Corp walked back the charge for cans, but has not forced ships charging for cans to stop. &nbsp;Of course they want more money and probably don&apos;t care to correct them.

  You are correct that Princess is still looks like value for money. But . . . &nbsp;I have been a loyal Princess passenger for many years and I have the uncomfortable ability to compare pre-COVID Princess with the pale imitation being offered now. The cost increases , service, &nbsp;quality and variety cutbacks make my last few cruises a disapointment. The final straw for me was the hollowing out of Ocean Now service. &nbsp;I suspect that Princess has determined that Ocean Now was making it a little too easy for passengers to use their package entitlements, &nbsp;so Ocean Now menus, times &nbsp;and service locations were drastically cut. &nbsp;Me me, &nbsp;it&apos;s time to move on to another line so I&apos;m not disapointed every time I cruise the current Princess.
