  Looking at this Italian squad and the current one in 2026 is not only sad but horrifying,the fall from grace is heartbreaking,from a gladiator esque 2006 team to Chihuahua squad in 2026😮😮

  In the past 30 years, there have been 8 World Cups. France reached the final 4 times, winning 2 and losing 2. They have never lost a World Cup final other than on penalties.<br>Who has done better over the past 30 years?<br>May the best team win in 2026. I just hope it doesn&apos;t end in a penalty shootout again... finals should not be decided that way.

  Remembering this World Cup final in 2026 brings a lot of memories such like Pirlo, Gattuso, Cameronezzi, Wiltord, Djoukerf, Thuram, Trezeguet who played phenomenal. The Italian football squad was immense and you wonder what happened in the preceding World Cups 2010, 14, 18 and 2022. They never showed up for sure.
