  As a three course lunch deal menu then that meal was totally amazing - You're so right about losing the telly - Who needs to be watching the news as it's constantly so depressing

  I worked for Crest Hotels, a hotel chain decades ago. At the bottom of the menu it would state, &nbsp; &quot;Service included&quot; &nbsp; and add a %<br>But WE the Servers, NEVER got the service charge!!! &nbsp; It was a way of making the Hotel look less expensive as guests thought it included our tips.<br>It was a clever CON. It just meant &quot;Staff will Serve You.&quot;<br>Meanwhile - very few people tipped ... because they thought the &apos;service charge&apos; went to the staff.<br>But the TAX MAN would ensure that we paid Tax on the Tips that we Never got!!<br>We Was got at both ends ...<br><br>A few brave guests would raise the matter with Management but nothing ever happened because it was a &apos;Head Office&apos; decision.<br><br>I&apos;m sure I heard one guest say, &quot;Are you joking?&quot;

  Pave potatoes was named after the way roads and streets used to be build. The layers of spud are glued together with butter and seasoning and slowly baked. On racetracks the surface is called &apos;par-vay&apos;.

  Hello Hannah. I dropped in there a couple of years ago for a light lunch and left with a £125 bill! That did include one glass of wine and the service left a lot to be desired. Haven’t been back since. No wonder they have introduced a £22 lunch menu.<br>The usual high quality vlog that we have come to expect from our lovely Hannah
