best review I have seen on youtube in a very long time, helpful to get your mentality and perspective in choosing your machine and how what you wanted evolved as time went on

X420 here. After six months almost forget it's there. It mows perfectly and needs almost no attention. Excellent machine!

appreciate the disclaimers and context at the beginning. that transparency is the only reason I didn't click on another video halfway through

Very thorough review! Thank you as I'm still on the fence about these and I agree about most people put out reviews before they really test a product.

I bought the x3 last year (April at launch). I didn’t think it could get better and the x4 somehow did that. I haven’t mowed for 1.5 years now and just got rid of my gas push mower that I kept as a backup. I trust it that much. Works flawlessly.

Me working long hours and can't cut during the week and would rather do something else with my time off than cut grass, this is sweet.

Excellent review. I just bought the x430 still waiting to receive it. Also thank for putting the cover and the case below.

I used to run a Luba 2 on 2000m2 of very bumpy lawn (mouse holes, moles, draught cracks) with plant growth adjacent to most of the lawn. The luba got stuck every couple of days, either by digging in in dry corners when turning or getting stuck in plants that started to grow over the lawn (which I didn't yet cut). That drove me crazy, especially because it is a weekend property so I couldn't solve the issue right away missing mowing cycles resulting in heaps of dry mowed grass on the lawn. Now I switched to an S4 and the difference is night and day: after a month of daily mowing I still have to experience a first issue. This mower starts to become boring, which is the ultimate compliment. For me a Navimow every day of the week.

We had this robot for two months now and like you I’m really impressed how it just works on our terrain with tree coverings, brushes, slopes, molehills, etc. It never got stuck.

One nitpick I have is that because it is quite heavy, and here in western Europe we had very little rain since the beginning of June, the wheels have started to create tracks in certain narrow areas on the dry grass. Maybe a lighter robot would exhibit this problem less. But this summer is also exceptionally dry here in Europe, so not really the robot’s fault.

Other than that, it is really a well-designed hands-off robot that just works and as you said removes a chore instead of creating a new one 🙂

X450 for a week now. Still tweaking the map, still going out to follow it some to make sure it's on the right path. Short version, ecstatically happy! Like you, I'd love the in app camera view. Is also like to see better decision maneuverability to cut closer to an object it sees it needs to mow around. The last major wish I have is ability to do alternate maps. Is like to pick small sections of my yard where the grass just grows faster said have that mini zone mowed more frequently.
The same as you, I'd have no issue going out and buying another navimow when needed. Thanks for the link to the power box!
