It's amazing how once the respawn machine was turned off, it went from "what if" comedy to horror very quickly.

Blue Spy almost kills Blue Engineer because of his Red Engineer hallucination.

Red Engineer kills Red Pyro because of his Blue Spy hallucination.

Seems legit.

I expected this to be a generic and lighthearted "spy learns to git gud", but I was pleasantly surprised, thank you.

People are talking about Emesis Blue foreshadowing in the comments but I haven't yet seen anyone point out the parallel between the dying Blu Engi giving the Spy his pistol here vs. Demo giving Soldier a hand grenade as a "parting gift" in EB

That medic at the very end is an interesting touch, he should be involved in a terrifying movie about a broken respawn machine

I like how RED decided to have a team of 13 consisting of Scout, Soldier, Demo, Heavy, Engie, Medic, Spy, and 7 Snipers

Little things i noticed in the short-film
1. The BLU medic is Fritz Ludwig, the same medic from EMESIS BLUE
2. when spy was in the medical room and it panned over to the TV, you can see a tape labeled: EMESIS BLUE
3. Over time you can see Spy's eyes change after gaining the sentry as a disguise
4. In EMESIS BLUE when one of the engineers were talking on the phone, they mentioned their third brother getting killed in dustbowl, aka the same engineer that spy killed

That ending got me so good that I almost forgot that near the start, Spy ate the RED Engineer.
