The last few seasons of AVGN felt like Justin Silverman was writing a script of what HE THOUGHT the AVGN would say

The new AVGN videos would be much better if they had a giant MKII cabinet showing Marvel vs Capcom taking up 1/3 of the frame

I just love the idea that James is using every single DIY method imaginable that were in use back in the 70's and 80's

Even when James wasn't making the best videos, they always had such a charm before the slobwave era.

I've listened to this video probably 10 times and "brought into the fold pardon the pun" still gets me everytime.

I think people make fun of James using a teleprompter instead of memorizing his lines, because in an older behind the scenes video he condemns the use of teleprompters and says he needs to memorize his lines for better performance

I rewatch this video often. Still love that "the slobs" is just an accepted, known, and glossed over thing. Like everyone has a set of slobs.

TL;DW for those that dont have time to watch this video.  Two indie film makers and fans of Cinemassacre calmly and rationally discuss James seemingly inefficient film-making, technical setups, and usage of a crew.  While sharing their own life changes (muh kids), they discuss on how they were able to continue making weekly YouTube content as a hobby while also managing full-time jobs and children during a pandemic.

I'm thinking James probably has OCD.  His routines take 75% of his time.
