  We’ve been trying to move for about 3 years.  People coming to TN from places like CA, NY, & others have nearly stopped locals from buying.  The real estate industry has jacked prices way out of reach for Tennesseans trying to move to accommodate outsiders.  It’s a tragedy from which we won’t recover.

  Avoid anything in Sevier County. The tourist traffic alone really sucks.

  What's happening in Tennessee is what's happening across many states and that is a needed correction of overpricing properties, hyperinflated housing prices paid by people coming from the east coast and the West Coast trying to get away from the hell holes created by their leadership and this is the result of what it has done to the housing market. This is a much-needed correction that the locals we'll be able to take advantage of particularly those of us who have been relegated to living in travel trailers because they've priced homes out of our reach.

  I don't think Nashville real estate prices dropping is such a bad thing. It's a much needed correction, in my opinion.

  I am thrilled to learn INVESTORS are loosing ground. Investors buy properties to make money - get that - but they have priced families out of the American dream. I want to see property values come down considerably more to make the American dream affordable for families, again.

  House prices dropping is not a bad thing. They're overinflated so maybe they're trying to regulate to something that is actually normal

  Memphis also has the highest tax rate in TN and government Corruption.

  It needs to crash, Tennessee is so over priced, it's ridiculous, when there's a 1990 single-wide trailer on less than a 1/4 acre, sell for $153k, when the same exact home was for sale 5 years earlier for $30k is an insane bubble!
