I noticed something when I was making the thumbnail and didn't have time to put it into the video. At the end of their first fight, Steve uses his shield to try and rip off Bucky's arm--foreshadowing Iron Man doing the same thing in Civil War.

I don't care that this is 11 years later, this is movie is just as good now as it was when it came out. Love to get more analysis on it, especially now that we get to see the ties it has to more recent films.

Bucky catching that shield was what turned me from someone who watched these movies with my family to a full on MCU fan. It’s why Winter Soldier will always be my #1 even if other movies are considered better/more important/etc

The scene with Peggy having a moment of dementia and seeing Steve for the first time again was gut wrenching. BUT it was also a brilliant way of giving us a glimpse of them finally reuniting after so long; something that was unfortunately outside of the main flow of the movie.

14:37 I feel like there's also the possibility Fury assigned her to Cap bc of her family history. She has a habit of treating her close allies like family and Cap needed that, just as much as Natasha needed it. She helped keep him grounded and he helped bring out her morality and helped her to stand up strong. By endgame, Steve has grown to want more than a soldier's life, and Natasha has grown into the leader of the avengers. Steve was able to lay down his shield, and Natasha was able to step out of the shadows.

So can you guys just make Easter egg videos for all phase 1 again? Not even a joke, just do it.

47:30 in cap's apartment, the shield is facing the wall, mirroring how we're seeing a glimpse at the 'other side' of Captain America.

At 1:18:10, it seems pretty clear that they were going to execute Cap but the eyes on them made Rumlow say "Not here."
