Desert Storm Marine here. Best thank you I ever got for my service was a Vietnam Vet who thanked me for bringing him home. So when people thank me for my service I thank them for recognizing it.

Reading these comments, I know for a fact that it wasn’t just a story about black and white, it’s a part of a deep brotherhood that some people could ever understand. There is no black and white during tactical missions

The tone in his voice when he described the lieutenant moore dying is enough to tell you how real it was.
Its impossible not to respect a man and a warrior like this.
God i love the US and the men and women willing to die for us.

This Marine is a hero. What impresses me is after all the shit he went through he came back and went to 8th and I and served with the USMC silent drill team. If you have never seen this fantastic performance with the Drum and Bugle Corp and The President's Own. Fantastic!
