What surprised me is that the world still thinks it’s a war zone, this video makes me feel like booking a trip! It’s the total opposite of what the media is making us believe 😮

$20 for an hotel room, definitely a big no…for me. But the $70 hotel isn’t a bad deal despite a few drawbacks. But if I have to stay in Haiti, I would definitely choose the $200 hotel room. I love my comfort…! 🤭Haiti forever! 🇭🇹

the $70 hotel is beautiful...the style,the art, vibrant color, the architecture, colors etc... a video in P-A-P without the over-dramatization some of these other youtubers do or comments.

This is a powerful cautionary tale about how much we should trust mass media to show us a truthful version of reality. Haitian friends had warned me many years ago about how Haiti is reduced in the international news to a war zone populated by starving people and criminal gangs. And the same with all the places that we only know through the news. Traveling is the most powerful tool to really understand the world, much more today than in any time in the past
