Riddle me this.<br>The rich man, fearing for his brothers eternal fate, asks Abarham to send Lazarus to go warn them.<br>Vs.28 "for I have five brothers—that he may warn them, "so that they will not also come into this place of torment." (Was that a reasonable ask?) 29 Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; they should listen to them.’ <br><br>So in the listening, the brothers wouldn't have to worry about sharing the rich man's afterlife state? No need to send them any warning bc all they need to know is in their scripture?<br> <br>If Jewish people, even these 5 brothers listened to Moses and the prophets, then they would be fully aware of of this place of torment and understand how to avoid it - really? Are the words of Moses and of the prophets actually crystal clear on these matters? <br> <br>Where in those Old Testament books is all of this hellish doctrine clearly explained in such a way as to leave no doubt in the readers minds - and enable them to make "informed choices"?
