  I bought a Kenwood Chef in London in 1980 and took it to the Antipodes.I’ve still got it and will never give it away.

  OMG! I&apos;ve never wanted to &apos;go home&apos; more.<br>I&apos;ve been sitting here watching footage of London in the 60&apos;s and 70&apos;s where my family were snug and warm in front of the fire just 2.5 miles away. My heart breaks.

  Happy days when Great Britain made fantastic quality products and they were made here can remember my parents having a hoover and pyrex dishes the days we were all proud to be British 😊😊

  My mum still has her Kenwood mixer from the seventies and it still works and she still makes cakes from it. Truly well built British engineering.

  Free trade only works well when no other country is industrialised. After that you need protectionism - a ban on foreign ownership and barriers to entry to home markets.
