In 2014 they rebirthed it, walked into IFA Berlin with a no-compromise flagship speaker and said: "This is what we can do!" Presenting the R1 Reference Class system. The speaker was the Technics SB-R1 – and it is rare. Almost nobody has heard a pair. Almost nobody has lived with them. Used ones barely exist.
