When I was probably about 8 years old, I emailed Club Penguin pretending to be a parent and asked when they were going to do a Harry Potter crossover. At this time, I obviously did not understand that Harry Potter was not a Disney property - I just LOVED Harry Potter. The Club Penguin employee who emailed me back was super nice and gave my character a wizard hat in game which I thought was super sweet and cute

Having joined during the Disney takeover as a free to play, Club Penguin felt like playing as a medieval farmer, that while living a pleasant and humble life, had to watch hundreds of knights parade past my house every day, and having this great battle between them and a dragon off in this distance, that I'm only ever allowed to watch from my window.

Imagine if Club Penguin was still around today, they would have to do promotions with live action Disney movies….

All the Thinknoodles footage is really bringing me back to my childhood. We couldn't afford any memberships, so I used to watch him play through the members-only content

The club penguin NPCs have marked a generation, as a kid I was a huge fan of Gary the gadget guy and one of my closest friends for 15+ years had her "Gay awakening" thanks to Cadance. (Her words not mine)

Imagine if Club Penguin lasted long enough to have Fox crossovers. Alien Vs. Predator Vs. Penguin. The Simpsons Takeover. Planet Of The Penguapes.
