Sorry for the redundancy for the first 6 months. Many of you waited very patiently for Volume 3, but I gave up on the separate volumes in favor of making the giant video. Hopefully that works 👍🏼

2023 was a good year for lost media finds. I think 2022 had bigger, more significant finds, but 2023 absolutely had some knockouts too. Let me know which year was your favorite :)

Finding the Shrek test animation and the MARIO Creepypasta origin image this year gave me hope that we may be able to find Jeff the Killer’s origin image!

“The Bible was set for release, but was ultimately canceled” is not a sentence I thought I would ever hear

It's wild to think how many people have lost media that they don't know is being searched for. I have all of that "Muppet Guys Talking" stuff on my laptop, had no clue any of it was ever considered "lost"

I appreciate that a lot of the Lost media channels are no longer using "SCARY" imagery and music for Lost media videos

I love how all of these are like "This important piece of cultural history was preserved from being lost to the sands of time by Internet Archive user 'NinjaTurtleColonoscopy'."

Isn’t it crazy that something isn’t lost until someone reports it as lost? The amount of things that have just been, forgotten…

1:34:21 Correction here, MAME is not a ROM site, its a collection of emulators compiled into a single "super emulator" so to speak. When Phil Bennett says that the game was "added to MAME," what he means is that an emulator for this particular arcade game was built and added to MAME's source code.

honestly the fact that the FilthyFrank Kenya song was actually from a Ugandan gospel song that has been sitting on youtube since 2011 is really poetic ngl lmao
a lot of the times, lost media is more likely uncovered and either hasn’t been found by the public or it isn’t online. Paul Tibbitt even just confirmed that the Sailor Mouth uncensored vhs exists since he used to own it. it’s looking like a good year for lost media

The fact that the studio who worked with Dreamworks decided to release Shreks first footege makes me wonder if they thought "Nah if anybody is gonna leak our stuff its gonna be ourselves"
