  Hi Jordan and Salish! I just wanted to say thank you. I’m currently in the hospital as I was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 13 years old. I know it doesn’t sound that bad, but it’s been a hard couple days and this video really cheered me up! I doubt you’ll see this comment, but on the slight chance of you seeing it, thank you.<br><br>Edit: thank you so much for the well wishes in the replies! I’m been out of the hospital for a little bit now and I’ve been learning a lot. For clarification, type 1 diabetes is not caused by eating too much sugar. It is something that naturally happens. Type 2 can occur because of too much sugar intake. Type 1 can not be cured. On the other hand, type 2 can be cured of time if you follow certain steps. The change has been hard for me, but my family and friends have supported me through this hard time. Again, thank you for the well wishes!
