As a once wooden boat owner I am fascinated by the worlds different ethnic peoples on how they crafted their ships so many years ago and even today. Many similarities between various ethnic groups. Amazing engineering and skill that is necessary to build these magnificent ships!<br>I'm honored to see this!

Back in the 1950s a Viking Ship rebuild came up the river Themes, U. K. The crew in old Viking dress, They said they had come too invaid Britain, So a groop ove University students set out in a rowboat with dust bin lids for shields and floor mopes for weapons, And threw tomatoes at them, Or to them, There was a stand off, And the Vikings said they would come back. There were offers from France to assist the Vikings. It was more fun than the football finals.

How wonderful the tribute to Lindisfarne, the holy island across the sea to the Celtic lands and the chapels upon that sacred shore.

Its fascinating how these peoples were seen at many points in history as brutal raiders, not so long ago.. and now are they the one of the most respected, peaceful and civilized neighbors a nation could wish.
