This is how you make a strong female cast.

"Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar"

Man, if only more directors thought like this.

The Descent is easily one of the best horror films ever made. The way this movie is shot is just fantastic. The cast nailed it.

The book by the same name by Jeff Long is even scarier than the movie!

Loved this movie as a kid, my mom would but it on before we went to bed....in hindsight i think she was tired of her "baby" still sleeping in her bed, but it backfired 🤣

This is the movie that made me think of the term "trauma nirvana". The lead in this finally goes through so much crap that she reaches a new plane of being through trauma wherein she becomes kind of the ultimate badass; ergo, trauma nirvana.

If you like The Descent, you should play 'The Forest' on PC too.

Its kind of funny how, depending on the lens, horror movies are either works of art exploring themes like trauma, survivor guilt, etc, and alternatively, places to nitpick stupid mistakes characters make in not preparing well, visiting uncharted caves, with untrained members, etc

Controversially, I heard alot of people criticize about the character's barbaric actions to each other and clrawlers.

Saying that if they were in their shoes, they're confident enough to set aside their affair shtick and use real tactics to avoid friendly fire.

Not sure if that was the psychology talking or not.

This is one of my fave movies. I watched this with my boyfriend. When I said i wanted stop, he said "no, we finish this. " And we did😂 i remember Juno's actress being happy because she was cast for a role not specifically because of her race in one interview.

Also, whenever i find someone annoying i still say that they're good (but) "in small doses" Because of this film. Dog Soldiers i think from the same director was also a cool film
