In addition to the descriptions It would’ve been nice to actually hear the engines from start to acceleration in this video.

I think that by FAR the original 1989, Anton Furst designed Batmobile is #1. It wasn't shiny, it was flat black, as the Batmobile should be.
Everything Furst did was superlative; the "fabulous toys," the positively KILLER Batplane - I mean it actually bothered me when it was crashed! Loved that shot where it goes straight up into a hammerhead, and at the apex momentarily stands still, and is silhouetted against the moon in a mimic of the Batman logo.
I positively LOVE the 1989 Batman: Keaton proved to be one of the all-time Hollywood miracles of casting, the productions values were impeccable, the film score by Danny Elfman is simply one of the very best ever, ranking with the likes of Jarre or Williams, and perhaps most importantly, it had a good script.
After that one, I couldn't care less for any of the rest of the Batman iterations. IMO they should have quit after the initial, astonishing, masterpiece.

The Futura Batmobile was, and will always be my first car crush.

The Forever batmobile had massive fins because it was meant to transform into flight. Due to budget and time restrictions, they didn't make it happen, hence the grapple hook scene up the side of the building

I have to say, this list is pretty much bang on. Only thing I would change is swapping the 1966 Batmobile with Pattinsons.

I realize that you stuck to live action cars, but props to the 1990's Animated Series Batmobile, wich was a slong, sleek cruiser with a very 1930's Art Deco feel. Like everything else in this series, it was very well designed.
I do think that the 60's version should be ranked higher, as it's just so iconic. Honestly, even today, this is what a lot of people envision when they hear "Batmobile". I also think that the top two are so close that it's hard to tell them apart. I'd probably just rank these two together and put the Tumbler at #2 and the 60's car at #3.
