"Every adult you've ever known was a kid at sometime in his life, you think we don't remember summer vacation? Riding bikes down by the creek? Catching polliwogs in a jar, camping out under the stars? Well you're wrong." RIP Dabney Coleman, you helped change how I view adulthood so early.

Dude Recess was like one of the best cartoons to watch after I just got home from school. It used to always come on right at 4pm on Toon Disney! Good times...

Recess got away with parodies about everything from film noir and spaghetti westerns to cult leadership and business monopolies. That’s the mark of a very sophisticated kid’s cartoon.

Since most of your subscribers are from the 90s and early 2000s, of course we all remember Recess!

King Bob, diggers, guru kid, hustler kid, kindrgarden savages, Miss Finster, the hippy teacher, Ashleys, Randall, so many memorable characters out of the main group.

Recess was 100% my comfort show growing up. It was literally the first thing I watched when Disney+ launched and I still put it on every now and then when I need some nostalgia.

This show helped me meet my partner. My dating app description said "I'm bad with pickup lines, but I know a bunch about Disney's Recess if you want to talk about that." Worked like a charm.

The GOAT kid's show. The amount of adult jokes that went over my head despite the show's ability to connect with my inner kid is insane.

They capture the reality of school without social media. A treasure.
