To get rich all you have to do is stop buying a coffee everyday and ask daddy to fund your startup. Why is this so hard for people.

Im 37 with a good job. I'll never be able to afford a house. My goal is now to work less and enjoy my days off

Nepo-babies don’t understand how gigantic and life-changing $100K is for a startup. That could represent 20 years of savings for an average person. And if they fail, nothing really happens — they’re already wealthy. But if a regular person fails and loses $100K, that can be a life-ending scenario for many.

Also, all that individualism stuff is a psyop to keep people from forming groups. Everything becomes easier when you’re part of one. Take starting a business, for example — it’s obviously hard for a single person. But imagine if every classroom of students finished school and immediately started a business together — there would be so many opportunities and much better wealth distribution.

What annoys me a lot is that everyone has to get a successful career to be able to survive these days. When I was growing up so many of my friends parents (including my own) worked in factories/grocery stores/clothing stores etc... And could not only pay the bills but own a house, have children, go on international vacations. Now someone who works full time at these places and can barely afford half of these things.

I'm not interested in becoming a leader in my field or be the boss of however many employees, I just want a job that pays for a comfortable life.

Individualism is also a political tool to keep us from talking to each other and relating to issues. Nothing will get fixed when all you are able to focus on is surviving.

Networking and manipulation skills will get you much farther in life than any actual physical labor. You don't make millions by working 9 to 5. You make millions by getting people behind you.

I can tell you, without a doubt, that my father did not work harder than me at any point in his life. He golfed every Friday, showed up to all of our games and even practices (with 3 kids), and still had the time to spend an entire day on the weekend working on our yard

Finding 3 hours a week to do ANYTHING for myself is a near impossible task

It makes no sense that (until recently), my bosses couldn't use a printer, make a PDF, use Excel, or even send an email. That's for entry level workers

Individualism is the worst thing to be pushed on the human psyche. It killed social places, adult friend groups and communities. If the world is gonna suck I wish it would've sucked with friends

Everyone worked hard. But the problem is that work had more value back then. The same manual labor in the 60s is paid less today relative to the cost of living.

I explained it to my older cousin, let's say you dug fence post holes by hand back then. You were paid minimum wage. Same today, you dug fence post holes by hand and made minimum wage. That fence post job in the 60s? Might entirely pay for your college or a vehicle.

Today? You'd be lucky if it covered your car insurance.

Same hard labor. Same exact job. Different relative value of that job. That's the problem.

Community HAS always been and WILL ALWAYS be the way, no matter what those who are rich say.
