  You are right about that Siouxsie album, ive just fitted a Blue cartridge and am hearing stuff i haven,t heard before. Definitely recommended

  I’m too OCD to have the Ortofon Blue stylus mismatched with the cartridge that has “2M” in red font. For myself, I would need to buy the whole cartridge with matching colors—which will probably be a pain in the ass to install, but I’ve heard great things about the Ortofon Blue.

  I dont get into "?what is better that I should try". Was having crackling sounds on high end treble on  some vintage jazz records. Read it might be stylus. Changed from red to blue. Mild improvement-but-the sound scape and overall sound improvement- was incredible. Just a moderately priced system of cambridge, technics 1200 and KEF speakers. Vey happy.

  I'm over 60. I'm finding it hard to believe I'll hear much of a difference to justify the difference in price (I actually have an Ortofon Blue, but it was already used when I bought the tt it came with five years ago)

  Great review and sweet setup. How are you liking the 2m Blue for jazz records? Also Thinking of upgrading to the Shiit Mani 2 from the phono on my Wiim Ultra but not sure if the sound improvement would justify the price, what say you?

  Why go through 2 preamps? I’m curious about that part of the setup. Great piece!<br><br>And what about near mint vintage vinyl? Would the blue be better for these kinds of recordings or would the red be a better fit?

  Very nice review.<br>I own a cheap turntable (Denon DP-300F) with a ortofon 2M red cartidge.<br>my amp is a Denon PMA 900 NE with Dali Oberon one speakers.<br>I wonder if it&apos;s worth to switch over to a 2M blue cartidge.
