As a woman, I was so confused why they made Ellie so incompetent. It’s like they didn’t play the game at all. And I wasn’t even very good at the game, but did better than the TV Ellie.

Ellie in the game at least feels like the apocalypse has really shaped her into a survivor like Rick in TWD while Ellie in live action feels like she just woke up and the apocalypse just happened a week ago every single time.

When you're abby fighting ellie in the theater, ellie is like a boss battle, it's very cool but there's no way they can pull that off in the show because they made ellie a bumbling idoit

They wanted to make Ellie less of a monster in the show than the game. Sadly that is the point of the second game therefore negating her character.
