I have worked with adults with down syndrome, and I can say they are the closest thing to heaven on earth. They have such a gentle, sweet soul, and they cannot be tainted by this evil wicked world.

This was interesting. Almost all babies born with down syndrome have heart defects that are routinely corrected when they are infants. I doubt if Adini had any sort of surgery? The fact that she lived to be 65 is incredible.

What a wonderful story of a mothers love. We don't hear enough of these. The little princess was very fortunate to have a lioness as a mother.

I was told I was a pos person for having a baby with Down syndrome. As a mom it’s my job to give her the best life and teach her right from wrong.

Person with a disability. I love this story. Royal or not, a mother's love is a powerful thing. People often forget disabled people were the guinea pigs for the Final Solution. And even after T4 the disabled weren't safe. Those not claimed by drugging and starvation were sent to camps where, barring some sick medical fascination, they were sent to the gas chambers. These stories need to be validated and spoken of at memorials and in museums.
