When i'm sad Lupin comes to me, speaking words of wisdom - 'Eat this, you'll feel better'

The way Lupin happily looks at how Harry is blocking the dementor is like a stand-in father since James isn't there.

Lupin was definitely the best Defence Against the Darks Arts teacher imo. Shame that his ability to transform into a werewolf at night lost him his job.

Expecto Patronum is Latin for "I await a shield"

3:31 That shot of Lupin marveling at Harry’s accomplishment while being illuminated by the light is one of my favorite shots in all of cinema.

Rowling said the Dementors are meant to represent her depression, so makes sense that chocolate helped Harry since it has properties that makes the brain produce serotonin, the thing that makes us feel good. And it's a nice thing to know that chocolate helped Rowling through sadness XD might help us through a rough day

Am I the only one who thinks it's horrible that his happiest memory is most likely not even real? 😭😢

The fact that Harry was not only able to summon a shield Patronus but a corporeal Patronus at 13 shows just how naturally powerful he truly was with magic.

I love this scene when Lupin teaches Harry how to conjure a spell! Lupin and Sirius are my favorite characters.

Lupin was one of the few teachers that actually cared about Harry. Like in the book when Harry tries the patronus for the second time, he hears his father telling Lily to run for it, he wakes up crying, Lupin dosent think that he made the right choice trying to teach him the patronus. What a caring teacher 💙🙂

 Pay attention to the music.
The brass are playing the same melody you hear when the topic of Harry’s family is raised. It’s played in a sad manner before this scene because when he thinks of his family, it made him feel sad because of their tragic deaths. The melody is played in this scene in the brass when he’s successful with the patronous charm, which requires a happy memory. This symbolizes Harry’s transformation in this film. The thought of his parents is turned into a happy one. He is reminded of the love they gave him in sacrificing themselves, not the tragedy of their death. It is conveying the message that our loved ones who we all lost in our lives are, in fact, never gone and with us through our memories.

Thank you John Williams.
