  Thank you for addressing “crate guilt” in this video! Before adopting our ASD/CD mix, I started watching your puppy training videos. The puppy arrived crate trained already, and using the crate has been very helpful, but I still have felt guilty about putting her in it, because it seems like I put her in a lot. She doesn’t self-settle, and I finally figured out that as she gets tired, she just gets more spun up and it’s impossible to play with her without excessive biting and jumping, and she doesn’t listen. I have her go in her crate for an hour or so and when I get her out I have a new, calmer, obedient dog. Thank you for saying it’s okay to do that! Also, sometimes she complains about being in there and I if I put a towel over the door to give her some darkness and put some soothing music on, she’ll quiet down in the crate.

  As someone who deals with chronic pain i noticed you were very uncomfortable sitting there and my heart goes out to you. &nbsp;Im watching this a yr or so later and just pray you got some relief. &nbsp;<br>I also wanted to tell you how much you have helped me in training my blue heeler. &nbsp;Hes very smart and easy to train. &nbsp;The only 2 things he still hasnt worked thru is nipping at our ankles (especially during a walk) and constantly biting. &nbsp;His little needle teeth has my hands and arms looking terrible. &nbsp;Im binge watching your channel, sometimes watching a video multiple times. &nbsp;You guys are awesome and with your help i know we can help my lil guy not be just a good do, but an awesome one! &nbsp;Thank you!

  Love your videos!! A little while back my puppy really regressed in his crate training. He used to go in happily (didn’t need a treat in hand) then he started refusing to go in. He now will go in if you give him a big enough incentive and if he feels like it. I don’t want to have to whip out a steak just to make him go in but he won’t do it unless the reward is AMAZING
