  There’s a sign that says “It is better to correct a friend than to bury one”. For those who haven’t seen it, this sign refers to making sure construction workers follow safety regulations.

  There’s a sign on a mountain biking trail in Moab, Utah that reads “DISMOUNT NOW! Do not try to ride over the next rock. 200 ft cliff. Riders have died here, riders just like you!”

  Scariest sign I have seen was when I was walking in my city and saw a sign that said &quot;Varo liikkuvia varjoja&quot; which translates to &quot;Beware of moving shadows&quot;<br>and &quot;Pysy merkityllä polulla, katoamisvaara&quot; &nbsp;which translates to “Stay on the marked path, risk of disappearance.” in a forest

  Mexican here: these signs about being lynched DO EXIST, they are not that common on tourist friendly areas or cities, but certain rural areas are like that. I feel somewhat conflicted by them because these are communities that have been forgotten by public safety organizations, but also sometimes they end up lynching and killing misidentified suspects, which I believe is WAY worse than the robery.

  I&apos;ll tell you what, my family has worked on the railroad for 6 generations, and that &quot;stop death&quot; sign, is not as over the top as it seems. The number of people who die by train in scenarios that would seem like absurdist comedy if they weren&apos;t so tragic, is really shocking.
