The needle trick explains a few of Nerds questions.
Knowing North can give you a pretty good idea about the time of day. Which would tell her how long she was out, since she doesn't have needle marks for an IV.
Until you gather more info, this can give you information about your possible location. Which can help you figure out who or what you're dealing with.

And until you know where you're headed, picking a random direction is a valid strategy.
Also, humans have a tendency to walk in circles. So picking one that's as easily verified as magnetic north helps preventing that

Some of the little quirky things that "Krystal" does is soo great and makes the character feel real. Like the weird noise she makes, before kicking dude out of the car.

remember kids, if you want to hunt humans, be competent, don't give yourselves away so easily, actually hit your target, and get the right crystal

Can we talk about Athena pausing the fight to avoid shattering the door glass.

Hell, they weren't even allegations. The people behind manor gate said they were hunting people for sport on a public forum, then fell into a murderous rage when people believed them and started talking about it! The cherry on top was that their brilliant response to the fallout to their own idiocy was to do the exact thing they got in trouble for talking about doing and to target the very people they originally said they would like to target! 🤦‍♂

I love the final fight in this movie, it's what made me buy it. Especially the part at the beginning where Crystal grabs the knife in the block, then pulls the block toward her and away from Athena. Letting the motion from that action unsheathed the knife from the block. Levine Athena weaponless for a moment in the begining.

Tax on cigarettes is usually only changed with the new year. Pretty obvious that they weren't out THAT long
