The raw booted ball was crazy. That time is also crazy.

Just watched the Really Longathon WR 2 weeks back. Glad to see a new WR pop up.

I’ve watched this run many times but wanted to chime in since I’ve had a revelation; 3:13:50 you’re talking about Monty being the final character and not fitting the Sunshine’s theme. He was definitely supposed to be Il Piantissimo - a super fast character, lithe but not powerful, fits the team name, makes sense having chemistry, even the height lines up. But I’d wager fairly early on they realized the character is kind of weird to include for anyone who doesn’t know the game, so they pivoted to Monty since he at least sort of fits and is “recognizable.” That’s my new headcanon.

Can't wait for the sub 5! Love your MSB content and I will watch any new world records or videos about this category that come out. Getting all the superstars was an obsession of mine as a kid but never realized (way too hard, especially without using guides or any specific strategies), so seeing this category exist in the first place is mind blowing

"I'm going to go over to Gen's channel to watch part of one of their All Superstars runs to end the day."
"Hmm, should I watch the Longathon run or the one where they have the wrong splits?"
"Wait, I don't remember there being a run that breaks the 7 hour barrier. Am I missing something!?"

I've been watching your Mario Superstar Baseball (for the Nintendo GameCube) runs to wind down for the night for a while by now, and it's thrilling to see you come back to the grind. Congrats on the WR and here's to many more!
