  If Tibalt didnt discard at random he would be fairly strong for 2 Mana. But that one small word makes him so bad😂

  fun fact - you can cast Jace Reawakened on your opponents second turn if you have leyline of anticipation out

  I was at a card shop in the town of mill creek in Washington state.  They had a commander game set up in another room streaming on twitch.  We were able to watch it from a tv in the main room. Someone one won with tibalts ultimate because everyone had big board states. We were like omg you won with tibalt

  I spent a week on magic arena spamming wrenn and six with strip mine.  Definitely ruined a few peoples days

  One of my favorite Modern decks of all time was a Gruul Moon stompy deck running the Arbor Elf/Utopia Sprawl mana engine alongside 4 copies of Wrenn and 4 copies of Faithless Looting to get away with running only 16 lands in a deck curving all the way up to Bloodbraid Elf.  Just really leaning into the "never miss another land drop" aspect of Wrenn alongside the Faithless Looting to race through your deck and make use of the lands Wrenn picks up once you have enough mana was just an absolute blast.

  I had a lot of fun with Tibalt with Blood Scrivener during Return to Ravanica Standard. It performed really well at my local level.

  One could argue that Wrenn is why the bar for minimum toughness on creatures is now 2, much like the bolt standard raised many playable creatures’ toughness to 4.

  You should ask my play group about the Fiend. I can easily ultimate for the win, the turn he comes down. Easy money in my Rainbow bridge, super friends deck. Lots of proliferation.
