  Thank you for featuring Emma Kok in this video reaction. It's incredible the raw emotion Emma's voice has upon people listening to her, especially for the first time. With all her songs she always lives the lyrics and makes it look effortless. Though she still is dealing with the health issues, her story has become one of joy and success. The conductor, Andre Rieu was so impressed with her, he invited Emma to go along with his orchestra as guest artist to tour through Europe, the Mideast, Central America.. After 2 1/2 years and nearly 200 concert dates, Emma with the blessing of Andre, has now begun her solo career. She sold out consecutive, massively successful shows at the venerable Concertgebouw Theater in Amsterdam and is presently touring theaters through her native Netherlands with an additional 28 dates on the schedule. FYI: Emma has recently made available on her youtube channel, 10 songs from her Concertgebouw from last October show if you wish to see and hear her more recent performances.

  Emma went on tour with Andre after this performance, she travelled the world and has sung in front of hundreds of thousands of people. Last month Emma turned eighteen and she is making her dreams come true.   Emma&apos;s condition, gastroparesis, requires her to be connected to two portable pumps twenty-two hours a day that are connected with tubes to her stomach and intestines. The pumps deliver the nutrients that she needs to live but it leaves her exhausted, she travels with a wheelchair which she uses when necessary. She has been connected to these tubes since she was nine months old after doctors diagnosed her condition. Emma&apos;s condition also affected her growth rate, as she is petite. &nbsp; When she was very young she had to use a child-sized walker to hold the pumps when she was in school, she was bullied and made fun of by the other children, now she has trust issues and finds it hard to make friends. Emma has never eaten food in her life, she sips water, sometimes tea and will taste a bit of honey.   Thanks for your comment, It starts with goosebumps and ends with tears. &nbsp;This is a master piece and the beginning of a breakthrough for Emma worldwide. In a year&apos;s time she has done beautiful performances and they can be seen on youtube. For example 1 year later at the Vrijthof in Maastricht dancing on the stars. No cough or anything of sound, the audience 12500 people in trance. when she finishes singing a standing ovation from the audience and orchestra for several minutes. Emma doesn&apos;t speak French and she had a little bit French Lessons at school and helped by a French lady &nbsp;, this is how she did it.   Nice reaction, thank you. Emma&apos;s mother is backstage, she disconnects here from her tubes just befor she walks on stage and reconnects her when she comes back.
