This is SUCH a cinephiles dream podcast. The amount of Hollywood lore and love of the craft is entertaining from start to finish. I'm so in.

Totally agree with Dean. It's so easy to see the Data character not working, but Brent brought a curiosity and innocence to it, along with that great comic timing.

Funny how the editor popped up the logo from the movie Air Force One with Harrison Ford, not realizing that Devlin was talking about a scene on air force one in the movie Independence Day lol

While so many of us probably found this podcast and channel because we were STNG fans, so many others will join because Jon and Brent discuss the REAL creative industry. Introducing these artists , whether writers, producers, or actors, to us gives those "out-of-the-business" a view into "working creatives." People who dedicated their lives to make a particular art. This is fascinating and well done!

Dean Devlin is an American treasure. Yet another fascinating Dropping Names interview. I gotta say... Dropping Names with Brent and Jonny is one of the best interview shows, period. Thanks for doing these, guys!

I love when Brent tells a story and Jonathan just sits there waiting to ring the bell

I fondly remember being on the set of Spider-man. I had just pissed off Sam Raimi and I was punishing myself. Then, for some reason, Jonathan came up in a conversation. Someone told me, Matt, he's standing right behind you. I thought they were pulling my leg. I turned around and wouldn't you know it... he was right there. Jonathan dropped by to say hi to a husband and wife stunt team from TNG who were booked on the Unity Fair Green Goblin attack scene. It was one of those, speak of the devil moments.

Two heroes of my younger years shooting the shit and just talking to talk with friends and their heroes. Thank you both, for not only being involved in one of the greatest shows to ever be produced but also for being hilarious goobers that keep us endlessly entertained and enthralled with your choices of guests and stories. Here's to many more videos.

Can confirm on David Tennant. Amazing person. My youngest was a huge fan, especially after Good Omens. We went to a convention and we waited in line to meet him. All my youngest wanted to do was show David a Good Omens drawing they did of him. He took the time to talk and against the advice of his handler, signed the drawing for free.

I love these. I hope Dean comes back. It feels like we were only scratching the surface with this one.
