He befriended a loner, homeless person - killed them, and stole their identity.

I was a college student in 2000 and early 2001 and had a side job at World Gym Scottsdale, about a mile or so from him home.  I’d see and talk to him almost daily.  Many time it was just a simple ‘hello’ and a few other words, but occasionally he’d be more talkative like the time in late 2000 when he told me he failed the Scottsdale police exam.  He seemed moody then, and now, looking back on it; I think he felt forgotten or slighted is always i sense I got from him.  I had resigned from the gym just a couple weeks or so before this event, and after seeing it on TV like everyone else, was horrified; especially knowing I used to see him and chat a bit almost daily.  Absolutely devious and heinous act.  May God watch over the wife and kids in heaven.  I hope we get an arrest or closure on Robert in the near future

What a scumbag!!! Killed his whole family, reminds me of the Bradford Bishop case in 1976... he killed his whole family, and was never found either.

Please show all journalist  how interviews are done. This was excellently and exceptionally executed. These two women are amazong in how they bring this story to life. I hope that man is caught and I have a feeling he is in Belize. I post this on the previous  story too.

I remember this.  Back then it was unusual for a family member to kill his family. Now it happens all the time.
