  My high school band director selected Gloria Estefan tunes every year. As a Cuban-American, this was a big deal. Pride…I never forgot from where my family derived. What a blessing to be born in America decades after my family arrived in America and still being surrounded…embraced by the sounds of a free Cuba. Only in America…preservation of one’s culture, language, and history…enriching the land of freedom. All the while becoming that much more American. Patria y Vida.

  i admire Gloria immensely... even when the interviewer wants to focus on 'race' or heritage.. Gloria reminds her what America is all about.. she doesnt have to shun her heritage or culture.. but to recognize what this country once stood for makes me proud

  I have listened to her Music for all these years...she is Amazing one of My Favorite Singers...<br><br>I remember when I heard about the tour bus accident in 1990...<br>I Remember immediately Praying for Gloria Estefan, and for her husband, and her family and was I So Happy and Relieved to hear that she Survived, and made a Complete Recovery...<br><br>I was So Happy to Hear Her begin Sing again... after what she went through... trying to recover...<br><br>Gloria Estefan, and her Husband Emilio Estefan...<br>The Music they have both created is TIMELESS, and Transcends limits of Time...<br>Blessings to Gloria, and Emilio Estefan, and &nbsp;their children, and their entire Family...<br><br>Happy Birthday Gloria Estefan....<br>Have a Very Glorious, and <br>Happy Birthday Gloria Estefan...<br><br>Also, Happy Anniversary to you &nbsp;Gloria and Emilio Estafan,<br>God&apos;s Blessings to you and All of your Family.
