  I boght 2 watches at yard sales,  One i bought because it had a an orange dial.  It was an early (1967) Doxa diving watch.  I sold it to a man in England for 55X what I. ought it for.  the other one, i almost didn't buy because it was old and dirty.  I went back and paid the super cheap asking price because i had heard the name Omega.  i checked it when I got home.  It was a Omega Soeedmaster, but not just any speedmaster but a 1957 speedmaster.  it sold for 23k in an international auction.  I did have the watch restored by Omega in Switzerland but sold it along with all the original parts that Omega replaced (yes, they sent them back to me when they returned my restored watch).  i still have a Wittenhaur (spelling?)watch which I think is WWII vintage.  (I am Al's wife, Carol, and I was the yard sale) buyer

  I have an old Harrian pocket watch missing the second hand and the little hand and missing the hands on the other watch face about the 6 missing the back but it does have 17 jewels and all the pieces internally look to be complete get a gold case turn the crystal is intact believe it to be from around 1900 to 1920
