I was never a believer until i visited Gettysburg 3 years ago and caught a snapshot of a Union Solider walking across Plum Run down in Devils Den.. Gives me chills to this day because i took a,series's of photos back to back to back all within a few seconds, and this man appears in the 3rd photo out of 5. He's nowhere in the other 4 of the series. It fascinates me and haunts me at the same time. I hope these men are at rest and at peace.

I have a great great great...Uncle who was Cherokee , he served the union as a bugler. His company was captured, by the confederates, and taken to a prison camp. They gave Uncle George Thompson a choice of being hanged at sunrise, or serving their company, as bugler. So, my Uncle George served both sides, and survived the war.

My old sister lived in Gettysburg and I would say she was about 20 mins away from devils den , the gun fires at night and seeing some lights in the woods was the scariest part about Gettysburg

I visited the Gettysburg battle grounds years ago. To me, the atmosphere felt thick. I felt as if my husband and I were in the midst of spirits. It was a sad feeling.

My great grand father fought at Gettysburg in the 12th New Jersey volunteer infantry Batallion B Company K. He survived. I was just there but I got soooo very sad and cried at different places on the battle field. 😢

My wife and I were staying in a B&B In Gettysburg. We heard small voices, and footsteps, but no lights were on. We went to investigate, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, an eerie light came from the family room, lantern-like in its nature. We heard the voices again, more insistent and rapid in their whispers, the audio indistinguishable. We go in, and it’s a couple from St. Louis watching the World Series. They were trying to be quiet to not wake us.

Now that was amazing. No drama, no silly editing, no teens running their mouths and making things happen all for show. Thank you

In 2024, I visited the site of intense fighting in the autumn of 1914, near Commercy ( France ). My maternal grandfather's older brother was killed there.Walking through the quiet countryside, in the area where my great-uncle's regiment was fighting, I felt very sad, something poignant, as if I received a message from my ancestor, 110 years after his death. It's very possible that something from those who passed through such places "survives" there for eternity ...

I’ve been to that house and those trails when I visited Gettysburg. I didn’t believe in ghosts ….. but I do now. 100 percent. That place is amazing.

Forwarded a few videos to a friend, a housewife...now elderly - who visited Gettysburg years ago with family. An unassuming lady who is not a hysteric, not a nervous type, certainly not <br>one seeking attention....told me some time ago about her experience. We discussed it again yesterday and she repeated the tale which I have related before and now wish to clarify....She was walking thru the park...says she heard, rather than saw the ghosts...they were angry, arguing...she felt them pass her on either side...bumping sensation on her arms, then her feet left the ground...for a minute or so.... then silence.

This isn't about Gettysburg, but when I and my then husband visited Washington D.C. in the late 80's early 90's to visit his dad and step mom, as soon as we got out of the car, It felt like that whole place was haunted. It felt like every hair on my head was tingling and the hair on my arms stood up. I'd never before ever felt anything like it. It was the same wherever we went in D.C. We visited Arlington National Cemetery and while I didn't see or hear anything, I felt like ghost were all around me. I couldn't see them or hear them, but just felt them. I have NEVER in my life experienced anything like it. I don't know if that makes me a sensitive or not, but I've never experienced anything like it before or since. I'd like to visit Gettysburg someday and see if I get that same type of feeling as I did in Washington D.C.
