Dursks ploy always ( & this includes the dismemberment trial he actually won) is that he places himself in the seldom done ( and unlikely role) of being 'odd'. Most people guilty of crimes tend to try and come across as ' normal' as possible, Dursk does the opposite, one of the intentions of this , is to create himself in a different catagory; he leaves the relm of average, and now, in this new relm of strange, he can admit more. This is not entirely dumb because it actually worked ( again the dismemberment case) , and by doing this he also creates a rssonance with the listener, by appealing to their own behaviour ( because Nobody is as ordinary as criminals and their lawyers, try to make them seem.)<br>Dursk is also extremely rich, extremely entitled which is, and creates, a pathology of its own.

The reason he wanted a copy of the picture with his wife, is because he viewed it as a trophy. I think he enjoyed the fact that he murdered her and got away with it. The picture gave him some sort of satisfaction. Very sick and strange but if you look at his face when they show him that picture it shows all over his face. It was easy for me to see I guess. I watched the entire series several times. That creep durst was living near where I live and he rented the office space right next door to where I worked years ago. He paid his rent 3 years at a time and asked that his name not be listed on the marquee down stairs. He was never seen in the building. I worked for a psychiatrist at that time and one of our patients phoned and told me that Diane sawyer was in the building the day before and they saw it on TV.I thought sure lol but, it turned out they were telling the truth. I got off early that day so I missed the TV crew and Diane Sawyer. Durst was on America's Most Wanted. He used to dress up like a woman so no one could identify him. When he was living in this area there was a young girl that just vanished. I think Durst had something to do with this girl never being seen again. When I worked late at night in this building where he had the office next to where I worked, it used to creep me out so bad. I was afraid to take the elevator. I would just race down the stairs from the third floor. This Durst creep got away with so much and I think it was because of his family being so wealthy. That jinx series was one of the best! Watch it if you haven't already.:hand-orange-covering-eyes:
