My favorite trick is also sometimes the hardest: getting off the internet and actually going out skating

You should start a series. Noob to pro. You teach a beginner to become pro as fast as you can. That person should be me 😂

Ollie is the greatest thing ever on a skateboard. It is the trick that made me want to learn to skate. Truly just a sick maneuver and I am forever grateful that it’s one of few things I worked on a lot when I skated so I’ll always be able to do it decently

I was the kid in the garage that could do 7+ different pressure flips and could not kick flip.  Took years to re-learn how to skate proper.

Landing a Kickflip in a month gave me 2 things. 1 motivation to want to do this forever and 2 an unrealistic view of how to learn how to skateboard. I learned by spending hrs doing stationary kickflips in a crack before even really being able to Ollie or ride around and it took me a year to recorrect that way of learning a new trick without the fundamentals so now I’ve recently went back and my Ollie’s are 3/4x higher and more controlled. Trick progression slowed but comfortability on a board has skyrocketed. Huge thanks to you mitchie your vids been a huge help for someone learning at almost 30
