  From what I’m seeing so far Abe Lincoln didn’t own slaves because it was something his family was very against hence why they moved from Kentucky to Indiana. His wife Mary Todd on the other hand, her family did own slaves and they had inherited them from her father and sold them instead of freeing them (still trying to figure that part out)
