Judging by how she looks, she's powered by Australlium and hopes to get back to Earth to keep tormenting Zachariah Mann

the frozen leviathan probably got frozen in ice while infected BEFORE the enzimes were added to the food chain

I love the whole Degasi storyline from the first game. Marguerit goes out like an absolute badass. That's how they should have left it.

Great video! Obraxis told me that when they asked Tom (the original writer) about this, he basically confirmed the theory that it was basically the reaper having consumed so many "hero" peepers that the enzyme concentration in its flesh was just enough to keep Marge alive :)

Speaking of details:
She has three chairs in her kitchen.
Due to survivor’s guilt, she tries to escape reality by drinking and taking too many Purple Plants, pretending her crew is still there with her.
She’s constantly using her PDA because she’s trying to avoid reality.

The mirror in the bathroom is broken—after throwing up in the sink and snapping back to reality, she probably saw something in herself she didn’t like. She likely shattered the mirror during a tantrum.

That also explains why the Snow Stalker is afraid of her in the greenhouse. He’s with her all the time and knows when she becomes uncontrollable.

She also said she hates the greenhouse—maybe because she hates relying on the Purple Plants to escape reality. That could explain why one of the locker doors inside is broken—she’s constantly having outbursts. It also explains why she built a punching bag in her base.

Bart also said she had a gash on her arm. She still keeps the bandage—and the other half is attached to her exosuit.

Bonus: Preston’s old Purple Plants are found only in her greenhouse—nowhere else. That means she likely explores the Void and other dangerous sectors to find them.

Her life wasn’t easy.
She deserves better.
Everyone around her died. 😢

I think the biggest plot hole is: how the hell did the architects not figure out, despite all the immense efforts they put into it, that mixing two basic ass plants together is apparently a total cure to the disease that wiped out their entire civilization

15:50 that can be explained by the fact that crabsnakes are the top of a much smaller, isolated, food chain then the leviathans

The higher on the food chain an animal is the more various substances concentrate in their tissues. That's why eating larger, older predatory fish is a lot more likely to give you mercury poisoning than eating smaller, younger fish that eat krill and plankton and such. A reaper leviathan no doubt eats a LOT of smaller fish, including peepers and things that eat peepers, meaning that it's likely to have consumed quite a bit of the antibiotic enzyme. And just like with toxic waste here on Earth, the enzyme would concentrate itself heavily in predatory animals high in the food chain. Meaning that the reaper undoubtedly had quite a lot of the enzyme, especially in its liver, which would also be the most nutritious part of the animal, which Maida would likely have known, so it'd be something she'd have focused on consuming first in order to stave off starvation. This means that she would have consumed a lot of the enzyme, keeping her alive, both against starvation and against the planet-wide disease.

Actually, there is an interesting (if a bit gross) explanation for how the antidote was dispersed in Sector Zero. Remember the Alterra worker who complained about the skyrays’… irritable bowels?
