She knows her stuff ! &nbsp;Very knowledgeable , we need someone like this advising the government ............ or TELLING those deemed to be in charge just what&apos;s ahead for us if we go down certain routes !<br>Well done Alex for getting Kathryn on your show .

  Paying more for a less reliable power system, and the Prime minister in Ukraine giving them support, which we can’t afford, can’t protect our own borders from illegal immigration, and can’t defend our country from an an attack

  Look at what is happening right now in Gary, Indiana. The power has been off for twelve days so far. Filling stations not working, shops stripped bare, no running water , houses being looted, and people scare to leave home unarmed.

  One problem with a blackout nobody mentions is that shopping will cease. No electricity, no barcode scanning or electronic tills or paying with bank cards.

  The countries infrastructure is outdated STILL using legacy electrical systems. This is what happens when everything is sold off to private investors and then the rest is pushed under the rug as a &quot;future expense&quot;. This is exacerbated by the need to build many houses at pace that is then accentuated by bloody Data centers being built all over the place with what seems like such little thought. Add to this the tangent of net zero, the only thing i agreed with Keir Starmer on is the need to invest in modular reactors (which has been done) and Nuclear energy such as Hinkley point C and Sizewell C. This country instead of chucking stupid amounts of money/subsidising into wind and solar - Solar of which comes with birds nesting on the panels and them catching fire due to silicon reflecting the heat onto the nests, wind turbines have a shelf life and have to be turned off when creating too much energy... They need to put this into a world wide and financially sensible area that the country has been world leading in (in the past) and that is RESEARCH and ENGINEERING. Much like China.... This narrow mindset of reducing our 1% emissions is a fanciful back patting exercise and an easy win for idiots like Labour and it&apos;s a complete fallacy. There needs to be a hard push into research.

  If the power goes out you better get home quick because the criminals will be out in force 😮 robbing all the shops etc and don’t expect to see any police about 😮
