Otra cosa, Juan. Ver como un profesor resuelve un ejercicio sin preparárselo es una de las mejores cosas que le puede pasar a un alumno, ya que vas viendo cómo le van surgiendo las ideas. Cuando te preparas el ejercicio, vas directo a resolverlo y muchas veces no sabemos ni de donde sale la "magia". Habrá momentos en los que como profesor debas de ir con el ejercicio preparado, pero mientras se pueda disfrutar de esa improvisación, genial, se aprende mucho.

Una sugerencia: Podría haber sacado factor común 6b, quedando así: 6b(b+2), y llega a b=0 y b=-2 para sacar a, luego u y luego obtener x.<br>Un saludo !
